Professional Dance Workshop

1 & 2 May 2026 | Cilento, Italy

Step into the creative flow of Mobius. This two-day intensive is a rare invitation for professional dancers (18+) to immerse themselves in Mobius’s signature methodology. Beyond technical refinement, this is a conscious bridge towards future you as an artist.

The Experience

Expect a rigorous yet holistic immersion. You will engage in daily classes designed to refine your technical dexterity while exploring the nuanced, emotive movement that defines the Mobius aesthetic. Sessions include: Somatic Resourcing, Contemporary technique, Improvisation, Instant Composition, Contemporary approach to Ballet.

Where you’ll be Dancing

Mobius Atelier - Housed within the historic Abbey of the Celestines and nestled in the wild beauty of Cilento National Park - a sanctuary where heritage meets contemporary innovation. This is more than a workshop; it is a transformative dialogue between history, nature, and art making.

  • Guest Teacher

    Maria Virginia Marchesano, graduated with honours in Dance Studies – Classical Dance programme at the National Academy of Dance in Rome, and holds a diploma in Nikolais method from the Nikolais Foundation for Dance in New York. She is a dance technique teacher at the Pompei Classical High School, and continues her professional development through refresher courses at La Scala Theatre Academy in Milan and with masters from the Vaganova Academy of St Petersburg and the National School of Ballet in Cuba. As a dancer and choreographer, she has authored monographs and scientific articles dedicated to dance pedagogy. Currently, she is a contract lecturer at the University of Salerno and a PhD student in the National Interest Doctorate in Motor Sciences, conducting a research project on motor-expressive activities in collaboration with the Universities of Salerno and Verona.
