Midsummer Night Dancing

Midsummer Night Dancing is a research-oriented improvisational choreographic score expanding the threshold of human embodied perception. The work investigates transformation through light as a refractive happening and a byproduct of cellular metabolising. Two people navigate evolving relational dynamics, as they practice passing liquid light through soft matter dancing. Highly atmospheric and intimate, this performance translates midsummer solstice's abundant light into both subtle and rigorous physical dialogue, as self in relation to other is negotiated.
