Mobius Dance is seeking applications from performers for their new creation co-directed by award winning choreographer Gianluca Vincentini and Somatic Movement Artist, Therapist and Researcher Fabiano Culora in close collaboration with award winning Poet Andrew McMillan.
The work will be devised with performers for outdoors and theatre. We are especially interested in recent graduates or professionals who have been practicing for up to five years, and encourage applications from LGBTQIA* artists and allies due to the nature of the subject matter.
Mobius Dance requires dancers with a high level of dance, theatre and performance skills. We are seeking creative individuals with distinctive artistic identity, who are able to contribute to the creative processes necessary for this works embodied sensitivity and physical rigour.
Applicants need to have an interest in collaboration, communal living, and non-traditional working patterns. The creation period will take place in a retreat style residential setting within a national park in Italy. The movement research will take place in varied landscapes outdoors.
This project is funded by Arts Council England.
